As you have seen, we have gotten lots of new/demo Conn-Selmer French horns in the last few months, but I still have plenty of nice used ones on my shelf to go through! This one is a nice Holton H279 - it’s seen some action in its time, but is still pretty solid and will serve you well. It badly needed a cleaning, and had neon green corrosion on its rotors, but now it smells like clean dishes and is ready to play! Today’s finds are pretty awesome, from the case of an old Reynolds cornet that you’ll see soon. I bet you never knew Buffet sold valve oil, did you?? Welcome to another exciting episode of  “Things I find in cases”! Today’s exciting find comes to you from the original case of a Getzen Severinson model trumpet that just came in. Copies of the Getzen Gazette always used to come with new horns - not sure if they still do or not, but I remember getting a copy with a Getzen Capri flugel I purchased in 1984! I’ve been super busy trying to get things done after our recent snowstorms, but things are getting back to normal now! Today we got a new shipment in, and I got to have some fun with everyone’s favorite sport - Tuba Rasslin’!      Don’t worry - I won this round!     This King 2341 just had a couple of minor bell dents that I have removed - now it’s as good as new and ready to go.
