Conn Vintage One

What is the tonal character of the C.G. Conn Vintage One?

The Vintage One is generally associated with a broad, centered sound that can retain warmth while supporting projection. As with any professional trumpet, mouthpiece choice and player approach have a substantial effect on its tonal identity.

How should the gold-plated finish be maintained?

Gold-plated surfaces should be wiped gently with a soft, nonabrasive cloth after playing. Abrasive metal polishes should be avoided because they can wear plated surfaces.

How does the Vintage One fit within the C.G. Conn trumpet tradition?

The Vintage One was conceived as a professional trumpet with a classic American tonal orientation. It is a suitable consideration for players who value breadth, tonal color, and a substantial core rather than an exclusively bright lead-trumpet concept.

We are proud to be an authorized C.G.
