Players often choose this design for its free-blowing low register and consistent feel when moving between the open instrument and valve combinations.

How does the ETB849 differ from the Eastman ETB848?

The ETB849 uses independent axial-flow valves, while the ETB848 uses independent rotary valves. Both belong to Eastman's professional bass trombone line, but the valve designs provide different airflow, response, and ergonomic characteristics.

What is the purpose of the interchangeable leadpipes?

Interchangeable leadpipes allow a player to compare different balances of resistance, articulation, and response without changing the core instrument. This is particularly useful for professionals adapting the trombone to different ensembles, mouthpieces, and playing preferences.

We are proud to be an authorized Eastman dealer

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0608/3461/files/Eastman-ETB849-Professional-Bb-Bass-Trombone-in-Clear-Lacquer.jpg?v=1793095593
https://www.brassandwinds.com/products/eastman-etb849-professional-bb-bass-trombone-in-clear-lacquer-sn-s2506524
