Here is an extraordinary Giuseppe Barlassina handmade flute.
I have never seen a flute by this maker before, but the workmanship is top-notch. Solid silver head, body, foot, and mechanism, and featuring soldered tone holes, this instrument will stand up there with any Haynes or Powell. This instrument features plateau keys, offset G, split E, low B, an integrated foot (foot joint is not removable), and extra keys for the left hand, allowing fingering similar to that of a saxophone. Ideal for doublers! We are not convinced the headjoint is original to the flute - looks like a fine Rudall Carte solid silver headjoint to us, but we cannot say for certain. This flute is in excellent playing condition and is ready to light up your life!
