John Parker Seven Key Wood Flute HISTORIC
Here is a historic seven key wood flute by 18th century maker John Parker. There is some wear to the body and some cracks (see pictures.)
As this instrument is historically interesting, we have elected to sell in as-found condition and have done no restoration work to it. We leave that to the eventual owner. We expect that it will likely need pad and keywork to be playable.
Provenance: The Nowinski Collection. Jack Nowinski was an instrument repairman and collector who spend his lifetime amassing an impressive collection of interesting instruments. We are happy to offer instruments from his collection for sale.
