Its direct, agile design is particularly at home in jazz, commercial, and other settings where clear articulation and an immediate tonal core are priorities. This instrument has the straight-tenor configuration and engraved Legend identity associated with the model.

King Legend 2BL Tenor Trombone Specifications

Key: Bb

Model: Legend 2BL Jiggs Whigham

Bore Size: .491 inch

Bell Diameter: 7-3/8 inches

Bell Material: Yellow brass

Finish: Lacquer

Case: Protec MAX gig bag with backpack and shoulder straps

Accessories: Bach 11C small-shank mouthpiece, slide cream

Serial Number: 700799

Condition & Setup

This lightly used trombone is in excellent playing order and has been professionally serviced, set up, and play-tested. Its .491-inch bore and lightweight slide distinguish it from broader symphonic tenor designs, making it a purposeful choice for big band lead work, studio playing, solo performance, and chamber settings where clarity and flexibility are priorities.

Common Questions About the King Legend 2BL

How does the King 2BL differ from the standard King 2B?

The 2BL uses a single .491-inch bore and a lightweight slide.
