King Model 2166 3B Professional Valve Trombone SN 588568 OPEN BOX

This is a SUPERB King model 2166 3B valve trombone.

The King 3B is one of the finest trombones in its size class (.508 bore) ever made. These instruments feel like a small bore horn but put out the sound when it counts with a full, rich tone that gets big and expansive when you need it. This particular horn is in excellent condition. It is a valve trombone, but if you have a 3B slide, the bell section will also accept that slide. Everything is in perfect condition. Ostensibly a demo model, I don't see any signs that it has ever been played. Valves are like new. A great valve trombone!
