Louis Lot Wood Piccolo In C Model Keywork
Here is a very interesting Louis Lot wood piccolo in C. WOW!
Louis Lot is known as the Stradivarius of flutes, and his early silver flutes are among the finest ever to have been made. This instrument is very interesting. It came to us in pieces out of a large collection of 19th century flutes. Master technician Brad Wherry spent painstaking hours assembling it. In doing so, he found that it was likely an unfinished piccolo and had never been assembled by Louis Lot, and this is likely why it bears no serial number. We are not Louis Lot experts, so we are unable to provide an approximate date for this instrument, but if you have any information we'd love to hear it. In any case, this piccolo is an amazing player and certainly a fine representative of Louis Lot's workshop. This isntrument is in exquisite condition and has never been cracked. It plays beautifully.
