New York Bach Stradivarius Model Trumpet 7-10-62 Large Bore SN 2845 RARE
This is a VERY RARE New York Bach Stradivarius Model trumpet.
This is one of the trumpets made in the first few of years of Bach's production. The New York Bachs are the stuff of legends. Some say there's never been a better trumpet, or that you just can't get THE Bach sound with the current models.
This horn, in any case, is in excellent condition. Lacquer is not original but looks excellent.. This is a 7-10 bell which was a combination of Bach's 7 and 10 mandrels - this bell later came to be known as the 25 bell. Bore is .462 (large bore). Original pearls have been replaced with stones at some point. Plays great with a nice full sound. Includes nice Cronkite double leather gig bag.
