The Paxman Series II is a remarkable instrument. The Merewether system keeps the air moving in the same direction when the valve in engaged, enhancing response. These horns sound great and play with a warm, soloistic tone. Paxman has been making fine custom horns for years and this is an excellent example. This particular horn is in excellent condition. Instrument is original raw brass and has a vibrant, responsive tone. Valves and action are excellent. This horn has a few minor dings but nothing serious and is in great condition.
