This is a magnificent Selmer Mark VI sopranino saxophone in high Eb. Wow!
The Selmer Mark VI is considered by many to be the finest saxophone ever made and Mark VI sopraninos are extremely rare. This instrument is from the 1970s (serial number 293227). This one is in excellent condition. Original lacquer is 90% with no serious wear that I can see. Pads and action have just been gone over in the shop and this instrument is ready to play.Provenance: The Robert Howe collection.
