Selmer Paris Super Balanced Action Tenor Saxophone SN 50070 VERY NICE
This is an AWESOME Selmer Super Balanced Action Tenor Saxophone.
In my opinion the Super Balanced Action is the best tenor Selmer ever made. To me they just sound sweeter than the Mark VIs, and they still have the keywork that made Selmer famous. This one is a beautiful instrument. The lacquer is regrettably not original but is 95+% present and looks terrific - it was a very well done relacquer. Looks great and vintage. Serial number on the neck matches the body. This instrument has just been serviced by CARLO SBISA and this is a wonderfully playing horn as is. How many more SBA tenors are out there? This could be the last one you see for quite some time. Original case is in good shape.
