Here's a Yamaha YFL-462H Intermediate Flute in mint condition.

The headjoint is an important factor in determining the tone. The 400 Series flutes feature at a very affordable price headjoint body and foot of 92.5% pure sterling silver for a dark warm tone. This flute features offset G, B foot open holes, pointed key arms and a solid silver headjoint body and foot.

  • Sterling silver headjoint, body and footjoint: Sterling silver provides a beautiful sound with warm, colorful resonance.
  • B footjoint: A B-footjoint enables the flutist to play all of the notes down to a Low B Pointed key arms: A#, F# and other non-fingered keys feature pointed key arms, similar to those found on top-of-the-line Yamaha Handmade Flutes. This high end feature brings strength and beauty to these student level flutes.
  • Open hole keys: Open-hole keys give the player more control over the tone of the flute.Offset G Key: The YFL-462H features an offset G configuration.Undercut and beveled embouchure hole: Specifically designed for a clean attack, sensitive response, and accurate intonation

PLEASE NOTE: Warranty does not cover the following:

  1. Damage, deterioration or malfunction resulting from accident, negligence, misuse, abuse, operation or failure to follow instructions according to the Owner’s Manual for this product
  2. Any unit which has been altered or on which the serial number has been defaced, modified or removed
  3. Normal wear and any periodic maintenance
  4. Deterioration due to perspiration, corrosive atmosphere or other external causes such as extremes in temperature or humidity
  5. Lacquer or plating finish wear
  6. Springs, pads and felt parts  

USED/VINTAGE ITEMS include a one-year warranty with the same exclusions as above.

    HOW TO USE YOUR WARRANTY

    Contact customerservice@brassandwinds.com attaching photos of the affected item, so that we we may determine the best course of action:
    (For larger repairs) Receive a free mailing label to send the instrument back to us for repair. We will address any technical problems in our shop and send you back your horn free of charge.
    -OR-
    (For small repairs) Bring your instrument to a trusted local shop for a quote, and we will reimburse you their nominal shop fee to fix it at their location.
