Who the EBE853 Professional 4/4 Compensating EEb Tuba Is For
The Eastman EBE853 is a 4/4 compensating EEb tuba designed to provide the classic British-brass-band EEb voice with modern intonation and consistency. Its compensating system supports secure low-register response and accurate pitch through common extended-range valve combinations, while the 4 front-action pistons offer a familiar, efficient layout for players coming from American-style piston instruments.
This model is well-suited for professional tubists, serious students, and brass band enthusiasts who need an EEb tuba that can cover traditional British brass band parts, chamber ensemble work, and exposed solo playing. The .687-inch bore and 17-inch upright bell help keep the sound resonant and present without feeling unwieldy for players who prefer a true 4/4 footprint.
