Who the YTR-9335CH-BR III Bb Trumpet Is For

The Yamaha YTR-9335CH-BR III is a professional Bb trumpet designed for players who want a modern Chicago-style Xeno with consistent intonation, quick response, and a sound concept that can move between brilliant presence and a deeper core without feeling locked into one color.

The BR type distinguishes itself within the Xeno Artist Model lineup through its brass valve casing construction (including caps) for a freer-feeling response, plus the Malone Pipe leadpipe and an unsoldered floating finger hook intended to change feedback and articulation response. Chicago Series design details such as the bell geometry, French bead rim, and specialized slide and brace choices are aimed at providing stable blowing resistance, clear slotting, and smooth continuity across the full range, with particular attention to upper-register accessibility and seamless switching feel within the Chicago concept.
