Who is the Adams A3 Bb Trumpet for?
The Adams A3 is a professional Bb trumpet built as a versatile, do-it-all platform for players who need one horn that can move between orchestral repertoire, studio/commercial work, and jazz without changing their approach. It is designed for an easy, efficient blow with a bright, open core and clean articulation clarity, making it comfortable in symphonic, small-group, and recording settings.
The reverse leadpipe supports freer response and smoother slurs with controlled resistance, while the 0.60 mm one-piece, hand-hammered yellow-brass bell adds focus and stability—especially useful when playing with volume or in higher-intensity settings. Player-facing features like the first-slide saddle and third-slide ring with stop-rod support quick, repeatable tuning adjustments.
