Who is the Adams F2 Flugelhorn for?

The Adams F2 Flugelhorn is a professional Bb flugelhorn designed for players who want a heavier-build instrument with a thick, broad tonal profile and dependable projection. Its core sound is warm and dark, making it well suited to featured solo work where a larger, more substantial flugelhorn voice is desired.

Because the F2 pairs a heavy 535 g valve section with heavy braces, it also fits section and ensemble use where blend and projection both matter. Within the Adams flugelhorn lineup, the F2 is the heavier counterpart to the F1, emphasizing a wider, more grounded sound and a stable feel while maintaining clear player feedback from the one-piece hand-hammered gold brass bell.

Common Questions About The Adams F2

What makes the Adams F2 different from the F1?

The F2 is the heavier-built counterpart to the F1, using a heavy 535-gram brass valve section and heavy braces to support a thicker, broader sound and a stable feel with strong projection and blend.

Is the Adams F2 suitable for professional use?

Yes. The Adams F2 is a professional flugelhorn with pro-level build features including a one-piece hand-hammered gold brass bell, ML 10.5 mm bore, and a heavy valve block and bracing intended for consistent response in solo and ensemble settings.

What does “open box/demo” mean for this instrument?
