Who the YCL-CSVRA A Clarinet Is For
The Yamaha YCL-CSVRA is a Yamaha Custom-series Boehm-system A clarinet built for players who need professional-level tone, response, and intonation consistency in an A instrument. It is well suited to advancing students moving into conservatory repertoire, orchestral and chamber musicians who require a dependable A clarinet, and professional performers and educators who want Yamaha consistency across instruments.
Within Yamaha’s Custom lineup, the CSVR concept emphasizes a rich, centered sound and comfortable feel while maintaining the high consistency Yamaha is known for. The tapered tone holes with hand-tapered undercut are designed to support even response and stable intonation across registers, which is especially valuable for orchestral literature and blended ensemble work.
