Happy Holidays, Brass Fans!

I’m sure some of you would love to receive this beauty as a gift this year! This horn came to us quite dirty and had obviously not been played for a very long time.

 

Although it shows plenty of lacquer wear, it shows no signs of abuse or even much previous repair. After a thorough cleaning and replacement of all felts, corks, and bumpers, I only had to remove one very small bell ping. Compression isn’t perfect, but it is still at a very playable level, and it’s ready for your next gig!
