This find was a lot of fun, although it’s a bit sad that someone didn’t want to keep the medals that they were obviously so proud of! These are all medals from Illinois High School Association for band and vocal competitions, so it looks like the former owner did a lot of playing and singing in school.
There was also some English Composition homework, vintage sheet music, and for some odd reason a giant hex wrench! I have no idea how it could be helpful in a trumpet case as the only screw in a Bach trumpet that takes one of these requires the smallest in my set! I’ll keep it in my tool box just in case, though!
