This beautiful King Zephyr Alto Sax was one of the earlier and therefore more desirable models as indicated by the 179XXX serial number, which would put its year of manufacture somewhere around 1935. The art deco-style engravings on this horn are charming and contrast nicely with the rounded keyguards. By no means am I a great saxophone player, but holy cow this horn speaks marvelously! The reaction is great and the tone cuts. I'm excited for this saxophone to have a new home!
