Who the C1 Custom Series Professional C Trumpet Is For

The Adams C1 Custom Series Professional C Trumpet is a professional orchestral C trumpet designed to provide a centered, projecting sound and precise response for classical performance. Compared with the C2, the C1 is built to feel slightly tighter and brighter, with a more directional sound that helps articulation and pitch definition stay clear within a full ensemble.

This C1 Selected model with XL bore is a strong fit for players who want additional depth and tonal flexibility without sacrificing orchestral accuracy. It is well-suited to principal and section work, auditions, and solo repertoire where core, dynamic range, and controlled projection are priorities. Mouthpiece is not included, allowing you to pair the instrument with your preferred C-trumpet setup.

Common Questions About the Adams C1

How does the Adams C1 compare to the C2?

The C1 is designed to be slightly tighter and brighter than the C2, with a more directional sound shape. This makes the C1 a common choice for players prioritizing clarity, projection, and accuracy in orchestral settings.

What does the XL bore (12 mm /.472) change on this C1 Selected model?

The XL 12 mm (.472) bore is intended to add richness, broaden tonal color options, and support extreme dynamic control and projection while retaining a solid core. It can also change the feel of resistance compared with smaller-bore setups.

What accessories come with the Adams C1 trumpet?

The trumpet includes a case and an outfit: valve oil, slide grease, trigger oil, cleaning cloth, and slide stopper. A mouthpiece is not included.
