Bach Stradivarius 18037 Professional Bb Trumpet Overview
The Bach Stradivarius 18037 is a professional Bb trumpet built around the classic #37 bell profile, delivering the warm core and projection that players rely on for demanding musical work. With its .459" medium-large bore and lacquer finish, the 18037 balances breadth of sound with a familiar, stable feel across registers. This is a versatile Stradivarius configuration designed for serious musicians who need one instrument that adapts easily to a wide range of repertoire and performance environments.
The one-piece hand-hammered #37 yellow-brass bell offers a resonant, well-rounded voice with strong carrying power, making it equally effective in jazz settings, concert band, orchestral section playing, or solo work. The #25 leadpipe introduces a touch of resistance that helps center pitch and tone production, supporting clean attacks and confident slotting. Combined with the medium-large bore, the result is an instrument that responds quickly while maintaining a full, balanced sound at soft dynamics and under pressure. This open-box instrument was purchased directly from the manufacturer and has been serviced in our shop; it includes a Bach 3C mouthpiece, valve oil, and a new Protec MAX case—an excellent fit for advanced students, working professionals, and dedicated doublers seeking the signature Bach Stradivarius feel.
