Who the Alpha Plus Bb Clarinet Is For

Musicians who regularly perform outdoors or in rapidly changing climates may prefer a synthetic-body clarinet with fewer environmental care requirements.
Common Questions About the Backun Alpha Plus
How does grenadilla construction affect ownership?
Grenadilla is traditionally used for wooden clarinets and requires consistent care. The instrument should be swabbed after playing and protected from rapid changes in temperature and humidity.
What does the nickel-plated keywork offer?
Nickel-plated keywork provides a durable, bright key finish suited to regular student use. Wiping the keys after playing helps limit residue and preserves their appearance.
What additional equipment is needed before playing?
The buyer will need to supply a compatible Bb clarinet mouthpiece, ligature, and reed. The included swab and cork grease support routine instrument care.
