Who the MC100 Trumpet Straight Mute is For
The Protec MC100 is a carbon fiber straight mute for trumpet players who need a lightweight, durable mute with a warm, well-centered tone and reliable intonation. It suits working musicians and students alike, especially players who want a mute that will not make the horn feel bell-heavy and that stays secure thanks to the EVA foam grip.
The MC100 is appropriate for jazz and classical settings where a traditional straight-mute color is required, with an even feel in low, middle, and upper registers. It is also a strong choice for players who prioritize durability in a gig bag, as the carbon fiber construction is built to resist dents and scratches.
