Here is a very rare and unusual left-handed clarinet in Eb by Stowasser. A great example by one of the finest woodwind makers of this era, this instrument is in overall good condition but needs a rebuild to be playable. Was noted as being in the key of F by the collector who collected it, but our shop determined it was in Eb. Regrettably, it is missing the barrel.
Provenance: The Historic Collection. This is from the collection of a well-known researcher and historian of woodwinds who spent a lifetime collecting rare and unique instruments. We are privileged to offer items from this collection for sale.
As this instrument is historically interesting we have chosen to not do restoration work on it and leave that to the eventual owner.
