Yamaha YCL-SEVR Bb Clarinet Overview
The Yamaha YCL-SEVR Custom Professional Bb Clarinet is a recently produced evolution of the YCL-SEV, updating the design with a revised C#/G# tonehole layout while retaining the German-style bore concept for fast response and broad control across dynamics. Built with a grenadilla wood body, barrel, and bell, plus silver-plated keywork and carefully finished tapered tone holes, the YCL-SEVR is designed to project clearly as a solo instrument while blending naturally in symphonic repertoire.
