What’s on My Bench? Holton H279 French Horn
This one is a nice Holton H279 - it’s seen some action in its time, but is still pretty solid and will serve you well. It badly needed a cleaning, and had neon green corrosion on its rotors, but now it smells like clean dishes and is ready to play! I did some minor dent removal on the bell flare as well, and the screw bell works well.

I bet you never knew Buffet sold valve oil, did you?? Well, it’s because they actually also made trumpets for a short time! I actually have one that I found recently, and before you ask - no, it is NOT for sale! They are rare enough that I thought you all might like to see it, though!
